I asked for guidance on how to obtain the required return code, as I was unsure how to navigate the system. The staff member’s response was dismissive and condescending, which made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed for asking a reasonable question. Not all customers are confident with online systems, and no one should be made to feel inadequate for needing assistance. The interaction was upsetting enough that I chose to leave and will be seeking help elsewhere. I hope staff are reminded to treat customers with patience and basic respect.

If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
